On Friday morning, I went shopping with my daughter, M. I dressed her in what I thought was a cute, if not fashionably daring, outfit-striped pants with striped shirt. The shirt had small stripes and in all honestly, I was planning on putting a navy sweatshirt over it-but forgot that her sole navy sweatshirt was actually too small. Off to the mall we went, to the home of the tragically hip and cool-Cusp.
We managed to be successful (as in I found some clothes on sale, and she managed to amuse herself without tearing the entire place apart). As we were leaving with purchases in hand, the saleslady beams at Maya and asks me, "Aw. Did she dress herself?".
